My story

WILBUR (Wild Bill-Lil Bill)

Wilbur is a 3 to 4 year old small mixed breed (Spitz/Pharaoh Dog/Basneji?) male who weighs 20 to 25 lbs. Wilbur is better suited by his "Wild Bill" moniker - not because he's wild with energy, but because he has some wildly hilarious antics! He is animated and lovable, does well with other dogs once he's warmed up to them, is ok with cats, and would do best with kids 8 to 10 and up. He's a funny looking guy for an adopter who will love and enjoy him just the way he is! Wilbur is neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and treated with a current dose of heartworm and flea preventative. He's a true lap dog, but doesn't mind curling around your neck either! Wilbur has definitely become a favorite around here - he's spunky and full of life, but always eager to snuggle and give kisses! We're so proud of Wilbur! He enjoys playing fetch, chasing a tennis ball and is curious about the world around him. We think that Wilbur wasn't properly socialized, but feel that he can be a social and well-tempered dog with a bit of love and positive reinforcement.
