Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cooper is a four-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound. He is incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is good with other dogs.
Cooper came to us after living in a chaotic home environment. He lived in his own bedroom because he was "too big" and according to his family, did everything wrong. He was always yelled at. Poor Cooper, his only vice was that he was "too big." Due to being yelled at for almost five years, he became very tense. You could see in his posture how tense he was. It was heartbreaking.
When he came to live with us, he would rarely eat and when he did he would vomit. He also had terrible diarrhea. He would stand so tense like he was waiting to be yelled at. We took him to the vet and she determined he had an ulcer. We put him on some special ulcer medication.
UPDATE: Cooper is doing so well now, he eats great, is gaining weight, is very, very happy and so very relaxed. He is a great boy in the house and adores people. He would be a great addition to any home. He loves a crate although he is excellent in the house, perfectly housebroken and never gets into anything he isn't supposed to.
