Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please don't tell Punkin that we listed her as having special needs. She doesn't know. She arrived here at the farm (for foster care) the day before Thanksgiving 2011 - when she was about 6 months old. We quickly noticed that despite her perky personality, she was not putting weight on one of her rear legs. We've done x-rays and repeated them. The best theory seems to be that she suffered a traumatic injury (hit by a car?) as a puppy and the hip has never healed 100%. There seems to be bone-on-bone rubbing, giving her arthritis in the joint. With time though, we've seen her grow stronger and use the leg more and more. She now weighs about 30 pounds, and is full of personality. She plays and wrestles with her foster sisters - and gets along best with dogs her own size (or smaller). She would do well with children, and would be content to be an only-dog, too. Warning: Shes an avid licker! She loves to snuggle and tries to find the warmest spot to sleep even if that happens to be your head. She's house trained and uses a double-doggie door with ease! Please call Ms. Jody for more information at 352-316-5155 or email her at HeflinJ@bellsouth.net for an adoption application. Thank you!
