Update on Toby-07-26-2012
How Toby is thriving in his foster home! With consistent, loving care, he is now quite the charmer! He has settled down so much and no longer acts like he has to try to take over. He and his foster brother have a very friendly, peaceful relationship now.
He did not have the best life in his first home. He was the first dog of the owner; she did not spend much time with him and he was mostly left alone in his kennel. He's 7 years old but he has the energy level of a 3-4 year old! He is a a very affectionate dog who will spend hours snuggling with you. And if you don't give him your attention, he will verbally let you know; he's a chatty Lhasa Apso. He needs a firm but loving owner who is willing to continue working with him. He is crate trained, house trained, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm treatment. He loves going for rides and walks. If you have the experience and desire to help Toby be the superior dog he is on track to become, fill out an application as soon as possible. If you have questions first, contact Christine at: cghutch@comcast.net
For further information on adopting a Lhasa Apso or to see the entire list of dogs available for adoption, visit our web site at: www.lhasaapsorescue.org. Please browse our owner posted dogs on the site for additional Lhasas too. Only qualified applicants will be considered for adoption. Many lhasas are adopted quickly from our current list of applicants. Please consider placing an application on file. Applicants will be screened in the order they are received. For any questions regarding a specific dog, please e-mail the volunteer. Because of the great volume of phone calls received daily, we are limited in time on the number we can return. E-mails can be returned more readily. No specific Lhasa is promised to an individual until all the screening is completed. Our volunteers determine which Lhasa would fit in best with your home.
Only homes that have submitted an application and been screened will be considered.
To submit an application, please fill out the Lhasa Rescue Network's
adoption forms.
