The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're an all-volunteer group and need advance notice to schedule appointments. We cannot accept same-day appointments.

The Humane Society of West Alabama's Home for the Holidays campaign aims to have as many homeless pets home as possible by the end of December! During November & December 2012, we've waived adoption fees for adult cats 1 year and older and reduced younger cats' fees to only $40! Make a cat's Christmas wish come true!

This sweet and fuzzy girl is JoJo, a pretty and friendly little girl! She is a solid black DSH female with a tiny white patch on her chest. JoJo is a young "teenager" at age 9 months (10/12). She has bright yellow eyes! JoJo is a sweet and gentle little lady, but she has plenty of playful energy! JoJo likes to follow people around just to hang out, and likes to "help out" by getting involved in whatever's going on! Okay, so she's just plain nosy! But she's such a sweet girl, too! Please stop in at our cat adoption center or contact us to ask about sweet baby JoJo!

Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters.
