Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're an all-volunteer group and need advance notice to schedule appointments. We cannot accept same-day appointments.
Before choosing a pet, we recommend meeting the pet or ask questions first. For information on a specific animal, please visit our adoption center or email us at humaneswa@yahoo.com!
Henley needs a temporary foster home.
Henley is living in boarding at a vet clinic, and needs a temporary place to go! If you can temporarily foster (not foster to adopt - you'll need to apply for adoption beforehand), please send us a fostering application, found HERE.
This very handsome young guy is Henley, a stunning tabby with beautiful markings. He's mostly gray, with beautiful brown patches in different areas. Truly stunning! Henley is an older kitten around 8-9 months of age, so he might bet a little bit bigger. Henley knows how gorgeous he is, as he uses it to his advantage! He is a very charismatic guy who loves to be held - sometimes he insists on it! He thinks he's a human baby! He loves sitting in your lap or up and closer to your shoulder. He's also a little adventurer, loving to explore every corner of a room. He's one to be extremely playful around kitty condos! He is gentle, so we believe he would do well around children - just be mindful he is still a kitten and will want to play, so children will need to be informed that playful chewing or accidental scratching could occur if they are rough with him. Poor Henley came form a loving home who was reluctant to see him go, but a child in the household was allergic to cats. Please be sure to know about any family members' allergies before bringing in the cat - do not use the cat as the allergy test. Please contact us if you'd like to meet this handsome guy!
Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and fixed.
Our adoption fee is temporarily reduced to only $50, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters.
