Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bailey is a 5 year old neutered male who is being foster in Bethel Park , PA
______________________________________________________________________________
Bailey is a very sweet dog and loves to sneak in a kiss when he can. Bailey is an active 5 year old and loves to play like a puppy he gets that puppy-look when he wants to play. Bailey loves to run laps (and dig holes) in our fenced in yard. We are looking for a home with a secure fenced in yard as he is a runner and he doesn't know what the word COME means only sit & down. So Bailey is going to need some obedience training. Bailey gets along just fine with our dog and does well with older children; Bailey has not been around young children since coming to our home.
Bailey does have bad house manners though, if he wants something off the table or out of your hand or off the counter - he helps himself. We are working on that one. Bailey has had no accidents since coming to stay with us; he does pace at the door and gets frisky when he has to go out. I do crate him while we are away from the house and he does well in the crate but getting him to go in can be a bit tricky. Bailey over all stays off the furniture except when it's bedtime. He does like sleeping with my 17 yr old daughter, at her feet. Bailey is not aggressive with food at all, he does take his time eating but he does eat better if someone is in the room with him. Otherwise he keeps checking on where you are.
The only fears I have seen in Bailey are the windshield wipers when they are on, he jumps in the back seat in terror. And the water bowl, we have one that looks like a water cooler. When the bubbles go up in the bottle when someone is drinking from it, Bailey is running and I mean running from it.
Bailey was surrendered by his owner to the shelter, because due to his work schedule he could not spend the time with Bailey that he needed, Bailey was spending 10 hours a day alone.
