My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Turbo is a fun and loving sweet boy who was found lost in the country with a belt around his neck, hungry and afraid. The lady that found him was able to gain his trust with food, shelter and love. Turbo is the kind of dog that likes to follow his human around and develops a strong bond. He seems to listen to women better than men, but likes everyone equally. His ears perk straight up on occasion and he loves people!
Turbo gets along well with cats, chickens, ducks, goats and horses. He loves to play with other dogs and is very energetic, but will calm down with told to. Turbo is house and kennel trained and does not chew shoes or mess with things in the house. He adjusted very well to being a house dog.

Update 11/6/2012
Turbo has been doing fabulous in his foster home! He has tons of energy and loves to play fetch and chase with his foster sister. Then he sleeps through the night in his crate (and doesn't even wake us up early!) without any problems and goes right into his crate at any time. He's great in there during the day too when we are away and hasn't chewed up his bed. He hasn't had a single accident inside the house and has even whined and told us when he needed to go out in the middle of the night. He's doing okay with his foster cat siblings but he'd probably be at his best if they weren't around to tempt his curiosity. He loves car rides, going to new places and meeting new people. He was a PERFECT pup at the dog park this past weekend at the German Shepherd Meetup. He did all of his tricks (sit, stay, leave it, shake) for us and came back immediately when called. He stuck close to us and his foster sister and didn't get into a single scuffle or incident with the other 15+ dogs there. He even went over to check in on a pup who had been hurt and gave her kissies. Giving kissies is his specialty! He is not mouthy at all so would be great with little kids - he could definitely keep up energy wise with them. He met some kids the park and proceeded to cover them in licks. Turbo is very happy go lucky and when his tail wags (which is all the time) you can see how happy he is by wiggling his whole bottom! He is the sweetest pup and loves everyone he meets and getting pets and belly rubs.

with a belt around his neck, hungry and afraid. Turbo is the kind of

He seems to listen to women better than men, but likes everyone

Turbo gets along well with other dogs. He loves to play and is very
energetic, but will calm down with told to. Turbo is house and kennel
trained and does not chew shoes or mess with things in the house. He
adjusted very well to being a house dog. He is also very good with his
cat foster siblings and leaves them alone. He listens very well to a
simple uh-uh.

Turbo is learning sit and leave it and his leash manners are coming
along. He really wants to please. He rides quietly in a car and comes
when called. Turbo has the most beautiful brindle coat and unique
markings. He's a small guy but a big dog on the inside with a big
heart to match!
