This big goofy-looking fellow couldn't stay still for a photo! Could Tom be camera shy? But like the good dog that he is, he obeyed every time he was asked to sit. This sweetie is a 3-year-old neutered American Staffordshire Terrier mix, who was found as a stray in a dog run in Manhattan's Thomas Jefferson Park. He has a sexy coat of white with round black patches. He is very healthy, well mannered on the leash and friendly towards other dogs. He's also housetrained.

Tom is highly intelligent & he enjoys exercise. He’s a fairly quiet & sensible young man & he enjoys gentle affection & kind words. He’s a very handsome, medium sized dog who would fit in almost every environment. Training Tom will be a pleasure. He is a very capable & quick learner.
