My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pugsli (7 years old) started the first 5 years of his life in an Arkansas puppy mill. For the past 2 years, he has been living with a family learning how to be a good companion for someone. Pugsli is a handsome boy and is very well behaved. He doesn't bark and loves to follow you around. Because of his past experience in a puppy mill, Pugsli gets scared of loud noises and loud noises cause him anxiety. However, when things are calm, he loves to follow his human friend around. Pugsli would do best in a home with at least one other dog. He does well with both men and women, but seems to have a preference towards women. Because he is scared of loud noises, he may not be best suited for a home with small children, but mid to older range kids are just fine. Pugsli is crate trained, but has adored sleeping in bed at night with his foster mom. The night time cuddling is a big hit with Pugsli. He is also potty trained, but has had a few mistakes when transitioning into his foster home. This is common and once he has found his routine, he has been fine. Pugsli is scheduled for a dental cleaning and then will be ready for adoption. Pugsli is ready to find a home that understands his past and will understand his fear of loud noises. He wants a home to love him forever so he can enjoy snuggling for the rest of his life.
