Hi everyone! My name is Scoobie, although foster mom calls me Scoobie Do (Go ahead, sing it! I know you want to!) I’m a midsize (26 pound) beagle boy just looking for a family to love. I might not be the youngest beagle in the pack, but I’ve got love to spare! Snuggling, cuddling, petting, hugs- these are a few of my favorite things (There you go singing again!) I live with 2 other beagles and a cranky cat who rules the household, and we all live together pretty well. When I am out and about, or at an adoption event, the little kids LOVE to hug and pet me. Foster mom says I am a real sweetheart!

I had a rough time of it not too long ago, so I do have a couple little problems you should know about. I was heartworm positive, but have sailed through all my treatments. I just need to be tested again in about 6 months to be sure, and have a heartworm pill once a month. But, ya know, the BREW people say every dog should have a heartworm treatment once a month, so it’s not a big deal. I had an ear infection that was untreated before Midwest BREW rescued me, and now I am a little hard of hearing, and don’t see as well as I used to. (That just means I bark less!).

Other than that, I am the best house guest! I sleep all night, I am just fine sleeping in my crate, and I love car rides! I’m always up for an adventure! I’m not really an Alpha type- let the others take control; I’ll just go along for the ride. Foster mom says I am sweetest, cutest, cuddly beagle boy with a great disposition! So what if there is a little snow on the roof, there is still a fire in the heart, and I’ve got a lot of love to give! I would love to be your forever friend!
