My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joey is around a year old, 6-lbs neutered male blonde Chihuahua who came out of a very bad situation. He was relegated to the back yard after his Pet parent became pregnant and had to fend for himself among a pack of large breed dogs. We were asked to take him for safety. Joey was severely malnourished, flea and tick ridden and desperately needed a dental.

We neutered Joey, gave him his much needed dental, vaccinated him (as he previously had never been given vaccines) dewormed and took care of his flea and tick infestation.

Joey is happy he is back living in a home. He is crate trained, travels well in the car and loves to be held. He will probably be at his ideal weight at 7-lbs. Joey is initially shy when first being introduced but once he has spent time in your arms he warms up....

Joey would be best in a quieter home without large breed dogs or small children. He is ideal for a single person, or couple, semi-retired or work from home professional. Joey has been trained to take care of business outside and is not pad trained.
