My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benelli is a 1 year old, 6-lbs black and tan, neutered male Chihuahua who was surrendered to a high kill LA County shelter by his previous Owners, without any explanation given. Benelli is a happy little boy, with some energy but also likes to snuggle on your lap when given the opportunity.

Due to his small size, about 5.5-lbs, he is not suitable for a home with young children or large breed dogs. He travels well in the car and crates well. Benelli gets along well with other dogs, and would enjoy another dog of similar size as a play mate. He wears clothes well and will make an excellent "go everywhere" companion.

Benelli's adoption fee covers his shelter fees, spay surgery, dental, vaccines, worming, flea prevention, micro-chip and his plane ticket to Canada, to name a few things.

To meet Benelli the first step is to complete our adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.ocpoundhounds.com.
