My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harley is a 2 year old, 5-lbs spayed female Chihuahua who was rescued from a high kill LA County shelter, where she ended up after her Owner dies and left no provisions for her. She languished at the shelter until just before Independence Day, when space became an issue and she was put on the euthanasia list. We rescued her as she was so cute and sweet and with the fact she was suffering from a severe case of kennel cough her time had run out.

Harley is shy to begin with but very submissive and would not hurt a fly. Due to her diminutive 4.5-lbs size she is not suitable for a home with small children or large breed dogs. She will make an ideal pocket companion whom you can take everywhere with you. Harley loves to wear clothes, travels well in the car and crates well. Her preferred method of transport is in your arms. Harley is very playful and loves to play with other dogs her same size!

Harley's adoption fee covers her shelter fees, spay surgery, dental, vaccines, worming, flea prevention, micro-chip and her plane ticket to Canada, to name but a few things.
