Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dixie is a beautiful flashy fawn that came to us as the subject of a cruelty case in Clay County Florida. She is a very timid boxer, but is warming up in her foster home. We believe she is around 2-3 years old, she has beautiful markings and she is a very very sweet girl. Dixie gets along very well with her foster brothers and sister and the small children that are in the home. She loves to give kisses to everyone but especially to her foster sister Baili. She plays like a typical boxer so she would do best in a home that has another boxer or another dog that enjoys rough play. She probably wouldn’t do well in a home with small dogs or very small children since she does get frisky and may knock them over. She has not been tested with cats. Dixie is crate trained and house trained but still likes to chew on things other than her toys, but her foster home is working with her on this. When frightened she does tend to seek her crate for comfort but would rather chill on the couch with you. And she loves to snuggle up next to you in the bed. When new people come to the house she tends to get timid at first but warms up quickly. She is currently being fostered by Mandi and Todd in Middleburg, FL.
