Hi, my name is Lucy and I am a delightful bundle of love and affection. I am a most precious, and very pretty girl - beautiful sable with golden brindle and deep brown eyes. It is hard to choose what I like the most - I like to run and play, I like dogs and cats, I love water and hiking, but I guess I love most to snuggle, kiss, and get tummy rubs, and I like to sleep with you. My great joy in life is children, especially small children. I am loyal and smart, and I know lots of obedience commands. I am just 12 months old, I am spayed, I have all my shots and I am housebroken. We try very hard to find the perfect match for the cats and dogs in our care with the families who seek to adopt a new pet. ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE RESCUED FROM MASSACHUSETTS AND HOUSED IN MASSACHUSETTS. WE DO NOT "RESCUE" ANIMALS FROM OUT-OF-STATE- CATS AND DOGS DIE EVERY DAY IN MASSACHUSETTS. THEREFORE, WE SAVE AND ADOPT OUT ONLY LOCAL ANIMALS. You can visit our animals at any time and as often as you like, PRIOR to adopting. We are always in need of new temporary foster homes for dogs - every foster home means another dog saved. Our adoption process begins with a phone interview and after that we set up a time for potential adopters to come meet the cats or dogs that we think might be a good match.
