Mittens is a very affectionate fellow who recently found himself in a scary situation! He was living with an elderly woman who loved him greatly and spoiled him very much. She became ill and had to move to a nursing home, and Mittens no longer had a place to live! His former owner had rescued him from the local shelter years ago, so he was no stranger to being homeless. But once a cat knows a good home full of love and companionship, it’s the only place they want to be.
Now Mittens and his sister Snowball are on a mission to find a new home. They would love to stay together! But would be happy just to find a new place to live, where they are loved and cherished the way they once were.
Mittens enjoys being close to people and being petted. He is usually laid back, but he does still like to play! He has been neutered and is current on all shots and vaccinations. Mittens is house broken and litter box trained. He is 8 years old and does very well with others.
Mittens is on borrowed time at a temporary foster home, please visit www.oneliferescue.com and find the adoption application on the resources tab if you are interested. Submit the completed application to emily@oneliferescue.com
