Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What a sad sad life poor little Lily Rose has had :( She was dumped in Queens and her rescuer believes she most likely spent her whole life in a cage and was used for breeding purposes only. She has suffered a great deal in her life due to severe neglect. This is what happens to puppy mill moms - just breaks our hearts.
Lily Rose had a blank stare and what appeared to her foster mom a broken spirit when she found her. Who can blame the poor girl - no one loved or cared for her. The good news is thanks to the caring and compassion of her rescuer and foster mom, Lily Rose is coming out of her shell little by little! Her eyes have widened with wonder, she loves to explore the world and is very curious - everything is new to her! It's like she is now reborn again :)
Little Lil has been thoroughly vet checked and spayed. She does need some help with housebreaking being she lived in a cage her whole life until now. She does use the weewee pads though and will also go outside so she is a quick learner. She will do well in almost any quiet type home - small children and a lot of noise makes her afraid. She adores other dogs and cats and becomes very attached to her person!!
Lily Rose will always need drops in her eyes twice a day due to an eye condition which causes her not to produce tears (probably hereditary and really not a huge deal!). She has a slight narrowing of her trachea which causes her to cough once in a while but it’s not terrible and not contagious in any way
Diamond Lil is about 8-9 years old according to the vet and needs a kind, understanding person that will be patient with her as she builds trust in the human race. She’s already most of the way there, and is happy to be in a place where she is loved and doted on. If you are interested in meeting Lily Rose or if you have any questions, please email info@tufftails.org – thank you so much for caring!!
