Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Northern California Weimaraner Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Please visit www.norcalweimrescue.org to fill out our on line Adoption Application. REGGIE (formerly "Norbert") 5 y/o male Weimaraner. Reggie was rescued from a puppy mill by a man disgusted with the conditions he was living in. It is suspected he and his two Weim buddies (rescued together), were raised in very small kennels (5' x 6'). Reggie will crouch down from time to time when unsure of his surroundings or what is expected of him, but he is improving. He loves getting attention from people, and very quickly adapted to his new foster brother and sister. When he tests boundaries, he listens to corrections and gets back on the right track promptly, so he definitely wants to please. Reggie likes to run, then come back and check in, then run again, as though he wants to make sure you are still there. He is a goog jogging partner, though not in the greatest shape, so he needs to start a program slowly. Reggie will climb right into your lap for affection and wants to stay close. Reggie has a lot of energy and enthusiasm for life; he is learning all about the real world through his foster family. He is too active for toddlers and will chase cats. A dog companion for Reggie is a must! Ideally, he would be placed in a home with Kathy or Manny, whom he's lived all his life, but realistically a home with a new friend may have to work. Reggie takes a ball very happily, but is not sure what to do with it, and if you throw it, he just looks at you. He is learning leash manners, and would benefit from obedience classes. Reggie is a wonderful dog who needs love, patience, practice and time. Until he is comfortable and confident in his new home, he must have a secure fence of 6 feet in height, or if the fence is only 5 feet he needs to be supervised while outside. Reggie is house trained, micro-chipped, current on vaccines, neutered, on heart worm preventative and debarked by the original owner. In Patterson. Contact norcalweimrescue@yahoo.com or 707-987-8572.
