Mellow Sweet Roxanna Puppy

Roxanna is an extremely sweet and friendly puppy. She is about 7-8 months old and only about 28 lbs. She will max out at about 40 lbs and will look like a Mini-shepherd when fully grown. She is more than likely a Shepherd mixed with some smaller terrier breed.

Roxanna is our mellow, quiet little girl. She has one of the best puppy personalities we have ever had. When she gets excited, she ‘talks’ to you with a deep growly sweetness and a waggy waggy tail. Because she is a shepherd mix she is highly intelligent and learns very quickly. She would love to play ‘search and rescue’ with her toys!!! She is very very attached to people and very easy to train. She can sit, lie down and walks well on leash. Like all puppies she needs more off-leash play time at the dog park and loves other dogs.

Roxanna was rescued from the streets of Antigua by Americans living there. In Guatemala they love purebred dogs and dog shows but routinely abuse mixed breed puppies and often dump them on the side of the road. That is where Roxanna was found, starving and thin. For days after we found her, she threw up rocks and gravel. She was obviously loved by someone who then abandoned her, because she loves people so much.

Roxanna will make a great puppy for any family and children in the home should be over 5 to adopt our lovely little girl. Another dog would be a dream for Roxanna! She needs all the love you are able to give her.

Roxanna is spayed and up to date on all shots. We are a non-profit so there is a fee for adoption and we ask that you fill out an application before meeting our sweet girl.
