We are helping Butch's Dad find a good home for him. Here is the letter he sent us asking for help:
Dear Pitty Love Rescue,
I write, with great sadness, asking for help with my dog Butch. Due to a family health crisis, I find myself unable to keep him. If more details about the health situation are needed, I'll be glad to share those privately, however, in this note, I'd like to give you a public description and some pictures of this loving, happy boy.
Butch is a 1 year old Rottie/Great Dane mix who weighs in at a sleek 75 lbs. He is neutered and has all of his shots.
I can not find any better words to describe him than loving, happy, and energetic. He loves people and other dogs and is always looking to make new friends. He has some obedience training and knows the basics (sit, stay, here) and is fully house trained. We have been accident free in the house since Thanksgiving!!! That said, I do crate him when not home and over night.
When you meet him, you will see what a sweet, loving boy he is. He would be happiest in a place that allows him some room to run and play. Like I said, he loves other dogs (as 1 of the pics shows him playing with 2 boxers, a 4 y.o. female and 6 month old male) and kids, although at his size and energy level, adult supervision would be needed.
Most important to me is that Butch ends up in a loving, kind household.
Are you the person that can give Butch the loving home he deserves?
