Hi, I'm Ashes and I was born in Dec of 2011 (approximation).
I was found in a basement as a newborn kitten. The owners of the house waited to see if my mom would come and take care of me, but she didn't show. Worried about my safety, they called Nicole who volunteers as the Rehoming Assistance Program Coordinator at Carol's Ferals. She took us all in. At the time, she had a mom cat with a kitten about our age so she tried to have that mom act as a surrogate for us. It worked out good for us because she was a great mom! All my siblings got a home and I was the only one left, so Carol decided I could come stay at the facility and be in the adoption program because I am so cute.
I am your typical older kitten: full of energy and I love to play. I am EXTREMELY friendly, social, and attention-loving. I will greet you at the door and ask for attention right away; if you sit down, I will climb into your lap if you let me.
