Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Read more about me here: http://www.mwcr.org/2012/sean.htm
Sean is a handsome collie boy who, through no fault of his own, has spent much of his life being shifted from one place to another. A death in the family, children's allergies, travel schedules and aggression by other dogs all resulted in Sean being moved from one home to another until he was taken in by another rescue and finally MWCR. Through all of the upheaval in his life, he has remained a sweet, loving and very patient guy. He is now more than ready to find a forever home where he can receive the consistent care and love that he deserves.
Sean is a delight to be around, always happy, gentle and affectionate. He is fully house trained and well mannered with no bad habits. He doesn't like being crated, but since he is entirely trustworthy, there is no need to crate him. He doesn't counter surf, climb on furniture or chew inappropriately. He is simply a good, good boy.
Sean loves everyone he meets: adults, children and other dogs. He has not encountered any kitties, but given his laid back nature, we would be very surprised if he didn't get along with cats too. He would be happy to live as an only dog or with another calm doggie companion. Young, boisterous children might be too much for him, since he is beyond the rowdy, rough-housing stage of life. He has some stiffness in his hips and back legs, so he would much rather lie on a blanket in the sunshine than chase a Frisbee or a squirrel. He doesn't like loud noises such as thunder or the vacuum cleaner and will try to avoid them if possible. He does not need a fenced yard.
Sean is currently on medication for a skin infection but is doing well. He is 10-15 pounds underweight, so his forever home will need to feed him a nutritious, high quality dog food to help him get back to a healthy weight.
Sean is looking for a quiet, forever home where he can live with peace and dignity. He asks for very little – a warm place to sleep, a kind word, a caring pat on the head – but he is ready to give back so much more – his lasting, unconditional love.
