Hunter is a 2 year old purebred male yorkie that has lived his entire life in a breeding kennel. He is still a bit shy but he's so sweet when he gets to know you. He would do best in a home with another gentle dog for company. He would probably be better in a home without young children as he isn't accustomed to them.
Hunter is not a tiny yorkie, he weighs 7 pounds.
As with most breeder releases, he's spent most of his life in a kennel. He's finally learning what it's like to be loved and spoiled. He's now in a foster home and is turning into a sweet and loving little guy. He sleeps on the bed and loves to snuggle.
Hunter is currently on a raw and home cooked diet, as are most of the dogs in our program. He will only be adopted into a home that will keep him on a raw or home cooked diet, no commercial dog food for this baby. If you'd like more info on feeding raw or home cooked, please email...we'd be happy to help!
We recently took in several yorkies from breeding kennels. We'll have pictures and more information posted soon. Be sure to check our site often for updates.
If you are interested in adopting this precious boy, please make sure you are prepared to care for him for the rest of his life. He deserves a wonderful home to shower him with all of the love and devotion he deserves. He has plenty to give in return. He will only be adopted out to home that wants him as an inside dog.
Adoption fee is $350 and includes microchipping, neuter, vaccinations, and heartworm preventative as well as transport costs. Transport costs not included. We send an adoption kit with each dog that includes a small bag of food, treats, a toy and vaccination information.
Please note that we do not place our animals on a first come, first served basis. We work to find the best homes possible for our babies. Please fill out an application for adoption ONLY if you are serious about adopting this dog and you can provide for any special needs it may have. Vet references are required.
