Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Sophie. I’m a spayed Australian Heeler Mix, born about November 4, 2011. On December 5th, an elderly man picked me up on the side of the road. He knew he couldn’t keep me, but didn’t know what else to do except take me to the vet. From there, I went to live with another older couple, but the man developed health problems, and they decided I would be better off in a home where the family could spend more time with me. Now, I’m with a very nice foster family, and they have taken me to the vet to get up to date on my shots, heartworm prevention, and flea and tick medicine. When I went to the vet for a check up on May 5th, I weighed 30 lbs.
I’m learning indoor manners, like playing and sharing my toys with my German Shepherd foster sister. I’m house-broken and crate-trained. I’ll even go in my crate by myself during the day to take a nap. I’m learning to walk on a leash and to come when I’m called. My foster mom says I’m very sweet and loving. There’s a lot to learn, but I’m really trying because I want a forever home.
I am fostered in TENNESSEE, and my adoption fee is $150.
Could you be my forever family? I promise to love you forever!
