My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi Everyone I am Jojo. I am about 7 years old and I weigh about 19 lbs. I came to Pekes and Pals quite a while ago, after years of neglect and abuse. I am now able to trust people and have learned how to behave in a home. You see, I was never allowed in a home before I came here. While here, I have been healed of the skin problems I had and I have been taught that humans can be loving and responsible. I am VERY allergic to fleas so I will need to be kept totally flea free for the rest of my life to keep my skin and coat looking lovely. I adore snuggling on a sofa, and love to play with people. I prefer being the only dog as I am a bit greedy for the attention people can give. I have a microchip implant for identification. My adoption donation is $250. This is a small amount for my total love and devotion and the care I have been given while here.
We do not have a shelter and our rescues are housed in a private home. For security reasons, ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO MEET OUR RESCUED FURKIDS. "Drop-ins" are not permitted. If you have room in your heart and home for one of our rescued furkids, please submit an Adoption Application. You must also supply the contact info required for reference checks, and allow a home visit to make sure it is the right environment for us to thrive in. You must also be willing to sign the adoption contract when you adopt one of us, as Pekes and Pals NEVER wants us to end up in a bad situatuion again and they will take us back, no matter what the reason.
