My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Thumbelina. I was the smallest of my litter- so much smaller my foster Mom thinks I may have had a different daddy. My Mom is” Bubbles” you can see her picture inserted in the last picture. She is a 13 lb. Terrier mix. I couldn’t be spayed when my siblings got their surgery, as I was still too small. I am spayed now, fully vaccinated, and even micro-chipped. I am adorable, cute as a button! I am playful; get along with other dogs of all sizes, even my foster Mom’s 100 lb. giant. I am doing very well with housebreaking and only make a mistake if no one takes me out.
I weighed 4.8 lbs the day I was spayed- I was 13 weeks old. My birth date is 2-9-12. My Mom was pregnant and picked up as a stray and taken to a high kill shelter. Luckily an employee took her home and let her give birth to us- she called my rescuer as she knew we would take her and her litter into our program. Mom and my litter-mates have all been adopted so now it is my turn to find my fur-ever home. I am looking for a home with older children; prefer one where I won’t be alone for hours. I love being near my foster parents and sleep on my pillow above their heads.
