Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dimples is a healthy 2-to-3-year-old JRT and dachshund mix. She looks like a jack but is shaped long and low to the ground like a dachshund. We call her our low-rider! Dimples is loving and has a little spirit - she's thrilled to be outside where she can hop and run through the grass and is especially cute when she's rolling on her back in sheer bliss with those stubby little legs wiggling!
Dimples is only 11-lbs. full-grown and would be perfect for someone who's looking for a companion. She likes to be near you and will happily sleep beside you on the sofa. She walks good on a leash and won't eat you out of house and home. Dimples is doing well with housetraining and is almost completely trained. She gets along great with children over 10 and doesn't mind cats. She has a doggy bed that she sleeps in, but would love to sleep on your bed.
Dimples just got finished raising a litter of pups and now it's her turn to find her forever home. If you're looking for a small friend to keep you company, she'd love to meet you!

We are unsure of this dog's exact heritage, however we do know she's lovable and in need of a good home. If precise breed is important to you, please look elsewhere. We cannot guarantee size or exact breed. Most of our rescue dogs were saved from shelters, either turned into the shelter anonymously or by owners of a mix-breed dog who had an unexpected litter by an unknown male dog (or dogs). Therefore, exact parentage is unknown and we list our dogs using our best judgment.
All our dogs are in foster homes getting the best of care. We do not have a kennel or shelter. In order to meet our rescue dogs, we require potential adopters to submit an adoption application first. Please email onetail@comcast.net for an application and let us know where you live. DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION unless you are ready to take this dog home once your adoption has been approved. If the dog or puppy you are applying for is already vetted, applications will be processed within 3-4 days or ASAP. We are an all-volunteer rescue. We cannot hold dogs while you go on vacation or a business trip or prepare your home. Please understand that we have limited foster home space and cannot rescue more dogs if we hold dogs for others.
Adopted dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered, wormed, up to date with vaccines appropriate for age, microchipped, have gone through MA required isolation. and received a healthy dog health certificate from a MA licensed veterinarian.
