My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lani was a former foster of Carolina Poodle Rescue and transferred here since they took a poodle that I found and I'm better equipped to work with Shepherds. She was found along side the road in SC Christmas eve with her 2 siblings, who have since been adopted. She is now about 8 mths old, spayed and up to date on all shots and on heartworm prevention. A sweet affectionate girl with a very inquisitive nature, she is happy to play with my 4 extra large shepherds and even Arnold the 12 lb terrier Boss of the pack! She even likes cats and simply is curious about everything..... Extremely bright, this girl will take no time to train and forms quick bonds with her handler......... we think she is an Anatolian Shepherd/German Shepherd, she certainly has alot of Shepherd traits and is willing to please. A real looker, she has the most beautiful golden eyes and a short golden tan coat, not much shedding here, which is a real plus! About 45 LBS but will probably hit 60 - 70 fully grown. She walks well on the leash and has quickly picked up basic commands, will sit in your lap if allowed, or snuggle on sofa, she loves attention and belly rubs! Crate trained and house trained. A fenced yard is required.
