Zeus is a very sweet dog and wants to please. He has a hard time controlling his energy and is learning where his feet belong-on the ground. Zeus does not show any signs of aggression towards other dogs and he has never experienced aggression from another dog. We are not sure how well Zeus would do around cats. Most likely, Zeus wouldn't do well around cats. He has very high prey drive for squirrels and cats. Zeus absolutely loves water from the hose and a rubber doggie dumbbell. Zeus has some basic obedience but it is just basic. He is housebroken and good with little kids but I wouldnt let them run around together unattended because he'll knock a small child over unintentionally. Hes just a big puppy. Zeus is not an aggressive dog and appears sound. Zeus is large - approximately 90 lbs. - nice looking with the black and tan coat. Zeus has been with the same family since he was a puppy. He will chase cats but appears good with children. Zeus is very smart and learns quickly. I think he is a good SAR candidate or at least should be with an active family who will give him things to do. Zeus is active, smart and needs an active family or person that will give him a great quality of life. Zeus is neutered, dewormed, treated to prevent fleas & ticks and is up to date with all his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $300 and he'll get one free basic exam at one of our participating vet's offices as well as one free month of pet health insurance and will be microchipped.
