FUZZY.
Fuzzy Wasee was a bear, no, a cat. Fuzzy Wasee had no hair, scratch that, yes he sure does. Fuzzy Wasee wasn't fuzzy was he? YES! FUZZY THE CAT *IS* FUZZY!
The terrific tabby on this page whose paws make him look like he is wearing elbow length white gloves is 'FUZZY.' What a handsome, four year old fella! Fuzzy is looking for a household with a spot in a sunbeam where he can curl up & snooze the day away (preferably with his dignity entact unlike photo #2.) He's part of 'Ashley's Cats' whose story is below. Dictates Fuzzy (cats can't type, they can only walk across the keyboard): "I am part of a group of cats that trained a dog how to use a litterbox (ie. we're MENSA cats!) Obviously therefore, I get along with dogs. I also get along with cats, both female & male. I've tested negative for feline communicable diseases like 'Feline Leukemia.' I've been neutered too. The story on me & the other cats is below. We're running out of time to get new homes. Our caregiver/rescuer is injured & she really needs someone to step in soon. ASHLEY'S CATS.
A collection of cats of various ages, colors & genders were rescued by a good hearted person named Ashley. Ashley saw creatures in need after the cats' original caretaker died. Relatives wanted to just oust the cats on the street. Ashley stepped forward to help them. But now, Ashley needs help. As a result of an accident, Ashley can not really care for any of the kitties that she has rescued & still heal herself. Anyone surfing for a cat knows that so many cats need good homes. But in this case, the sands of the hourglass sound are quickly filing downward.
A modest adoption fee of $45 is being asked to cover some of the cost of the vetting which is under a rescue discounted price. We do have wonderful people who will sometimes underwrite part of an adoption fee for pets that need quick placement & a sponsor has paid part of Fuzzy's vetting costs. If you are not interested in this cat, but are available to help be an underwriter, please contact Sue too. Even small donations help when dealing with vetting five to ten cats at a time like this.

If you think FUZZY is not the right soulful blues traveller for you, then please offer up a little prayer for his future. Underdogs calls itself the 'Utterly Unconventional' rescue because we pray all the time for our furry friends & this has resulted in miraculous outcomes including eleventh hour, amazing placements, more times than not. While we have occasionally had the most heart-breaking endings in some siutations, even in those, we see a Spiritual Presence in the situation. So more than money, or a specific new home, we ask that anyone reading just say a little prayer of your design & faith, for the cats & for injured Ashley. Doing this, you just made a difference for them all.
