Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is a courtesy listing for a private party. Please contact the person listed below if you are interested in adopting this pet.
Homer and Skinny Bone Jones (a.k.a ‘Jones’) are two brothers who came from a local shelter. They are very attached to each other and are very similar; both purr constantly, both are rather talkative, but each one’s voice is very distinct, both will climb in your lap, and both love attention.
They do have a few slight differences and quirks! Homer is a lot more trusting of humans. He will come right up to you and he loves to be held. Jones, however, is still grieving over the betrayal of his previous owner, who had them since they were kittens and left him and his brother behind. But once you earn his trust *which doesn’t take long*, he is quite a character. He gets excited and will start rolling on his back talking to try and get your attention. He also will paw at you to get you to pet him! He is very ‘purr-sistent’ and does not like to be ignored! He is not thrilled with the idea of being held, but he does enjoy sleeping on you or curled up next to you.
Homer does not mind dogs. He actually will rub against the dog and let the dog lick him. He also loves other kitties. He has enjoyed sleeping with our foster kittens and grooming them. Jones, on the other hand, likes his attention from his human. He does not like to be bothered by other animals, aside from Homer. He will tolerate other non-aggressive cats and dogs.
They are very low maintenance kitties. They are calm and have the best demeanor. These two combined are more easy to take care of than most cats alone. They don’t fight with each other and have yet to hiss or claw anything. They don’t have a party in the litter-box or ‘decorate’ the house with litter. They are more into basking in the sun and relaxing.
They are older but they have plenty of life and love left in them. All they want is a place to call home again...
