Jassie is a sweet and spunky whippet/chihuahua mix that gains trust with people quickly. She is great with dogs of all sizes, but prefers small / medium doggy pals. She also gets a long great with cats and children / babies. She is a lover for sure.

My name is Jassie, I'm a one year old female whippet/ chihuahua. My family brought me to the shelter on February 23rd. I thought they were going on vacation again but it's been two months and they have not returned. I guess I wasn't cute or teeny like the puppies I see leaving here. I am hoping someone will adopt me, someone who will take me as I am and love me for life! If you can't take me home please find it in your heart to help me find a home by sharing my picture.

Jassie is an agreeable one year old tan and white spayed female Whippet/Chihuahua who was dumped at the Downey Animal Care Center on February 23rd with her former owner giving no reason whatsoever for doing so. Weighing twelve pounds, this social butterfly walks okay on leash, and loves to be around other dogs and with people. She can stand up on her hind legs and dance with you, perhaps teaching you the latest doggie disco steps. Jassie will make a totally wonderful dog for anyone in any living situation.
