My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Willie. I am a 4 year old male greyhound/lab mix. I look mostly greyhound. My owner had to surrender me due to money reasons. I lived with 2 young girls, ages 6 & 7 along with their mother & father. I have a sweet personality, love to be a lap dog. I love to play and tend to bark at my shelter friends when they come downstairs because I want to be with them. I am great on a leash and gentle with kids when playing and taking treats. I have that quiet, gentle personality of a greyhound and the playful, loyal personality of a lab. Since I have been here my almost all black coat has taken a beautiful shine. It was noted in my vet records I have food allergies so my shelter friends feed me chicken, lamb & rice meal. I also love sweet potato treats.
I miss not having a family to be around, please come by the shelter or call if interested in me. I haven smitten others who visit and work here but haven't found my forever home yet.
