My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Jocko and I am looking for my fur-ever home. My former owner was disabled and could not care for me- she didn’t want me to end up at a kill shelter so asked this nice rescue lady to take me and my buddy, Toot, into her rescue. I wasn’t fixed and hadn’t had any vet care. I am 1-2 years old and weigh 14lbs. I didn’t know what neutering meant but I handled it well. I was also de-wormed, vaccinated and had a heartworm test done. My foster Mom cheered because my test came back negative. Now I am on preventatives for heartworms and fleas. I even have a microchip so I can be reunited with my owner should I become lost.
I am a sweet fellow who gets along well with other dogs and I am good with children. I listen well and like going for car rides. I am crate trained and housebroken. I like the outdoors but also like sitting beside my foster Mom. So I would like a home where I have a fenced yard to run around in, and a warm cozy bed inside when I am not out playing.
