Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Comments from Sadie's foster mom:
Still working on housebreaking her...but she's just a baby and is doing very well. Very playful lots of energy. Will need a home with owners that have lots of energy or another dog she can play with otherwise she gets bored and chews. She is a lab so this is normal but someone not familiar with labs might not understand her need to chew remotes, cords, shoes, etc. We have been trying to work with her on this but it seems to be the breed as we have gone through it with all three of our other labs. Does great with other dogs and kids not very fond of cats. When I took her to the vet she growled at every cat she saw. Loves to have her belly scratched. She is absolutely adorable and once she got settled in she calmed down quite a bit. Slept through the night without issue. I think she was just so hyper because she had been in a cage for so long. Hated the leash at first but is getting used to it. loves riding in the car as long as she isn't in the crate. We are training her on our hidden fence system.
Sadie is currently in a foster home in Memphis, TN and will be transported via professional transport once we find a committed adoptive home for her. We are part of a network that works to alleviate the homeless pet problem in that area...where 80% of dogs that end up in the shelter are euthanized in just 5 days. We reach all along the East Coast up to New England, and over 200 dogs have found their forever homes in the last 6 months due to the efforts of this network. We realize that adopting a dog sight unseen can be a bit scary and we do everything we can to make sure that every dog arrives healthy and completely temperment tested. While we would love to foster these dogs up here, we simply don't have the foster space available and this is the best way we've come up with to continue saving these dogs.
So if you're a fan of those Labs and know what you're getting into...this beauty might just be the one for you!
