My story

Minuet is roughly 3 years old and weighs about 13 pounds; she is a "b type" Rat Terrier - with a LOT of attitude. Min should live with a family who has lots of Terrier experience, as she can be a very determined girl, and constantly wants to test her boundaries. We would not recommend that Min be adopted to a home with young children, as she will not accept any but a very strong "alpha figure" as being in charge of her. Minuet is housebroken (she goes back & forth between you and the door to tell you when she needs out), and she is crate trained. She was rescued from Texas along with her four babies (all adopted now), and has just completed treatment for heartworms; she is healthy as a horse and looking for her forever home. Min walks well on a leash, though she is usually in a hurry to get where she's going, and can pull if not reminded to "stay in step". You can see more pictures of Minuet by clicking here.
