Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ivy is a 3-4 year old 7 lb. Chihuahua maybe Yorkie mix (hard to tell right now). She is a diamond in the rough to say the least. Ivy's excessive hair loss is from a skin infection secondary to a allergic reaction to fleas. Left untreated for such a long time has left her feeling and looking miserable. Despite how miserably itchy she is you can not ask for a sweeter little girl. She enjoys the company of everyone (kids included). She is a wonderful lap dog who wants nothing more than to make up for lost time and get all the attention she can. She gets along great with kids, dogs of all sized and cats too. We are treating Ivy and making her much more comfortable. It may take some time before she starts getting her coat back but she is going to be a beautiful girl inside and out when she is all better. She just needs some TLC. She will come with her "baby" as we call it. She is very attached to a heart shaped stuffed toy. She takes it everywhere she goes. Absolutely the most adorable thing to see how much she loves this stuffed toy. Please find it in your heart to look past her appearance right now. She will forever be grateful for all the love she gets and will pay you back with the deepest unconditional love you can imagine.
Ivy has been examined by a vet, spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She has also been fecal tested (and dewormed if needed) and heartworm tested. An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.
The adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com.
The application can be emailed to Molly at Hallamart@sbcglobal.net.
The adoption fee for Ivy of $275 covers all vetting.
