Schmeggie is an approximately seven year young spayed female dog who was rescued from the streets of Watts. The abuse she had clearly undergone was evident on her head and face, and she weighed less than 20 pounds. She has started a new life and absolutely blossomed. She loves to play ball, and to ride in cars. She has a strong pull, so is best handled by someone who will treat her with lots of vocal guidance and kind discipline. She also loves to watch the street and to be petted or brushed, but hates “kitties” which can actually be squirrels or other small mammals, and skateboards! Schmeg is fully house broken. She has a mixed record of getting along with other dogs, so she is at her best when she is the “Star” of her home.
