My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I have spent most of my life as the only dog to a human who was homeless. He took better care of me than he did himself. I have been kept on heartworm preventative and when I was neutered I had gastropexy done too. (my stomach was tacked to prevent torsion which happens to large dogs like me and can be fatal. My owner wanted to protect me from that happening.) I miss my human, he loved me alot. He felt like he wouldn't be able to take care of me much longer so he wanted me to have a safe home & a loving family to live out my years. The rescue agreed to find someone who will love me like that again. I like other dogs and having a canine friend would be okay, but I am used to being the only dog. I like to play with people. I play fetch & tug of war. I will bring you the leash so we can go for a walk. I looove walks! I will even tell you when I want something. I am a great talker! My adoption fee is $175 which helps the rescue save more dogs like me! I need a home that knows all about Great Danes & can handle my size. I am a very well behaved boy, but knowledge of my breed is a good thing!
