Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kodak is an incredibly cute 6-8 month old border collie boy. He weighs 26 lbs currently, and will probably gain 5 lbs or so more as he grows. He is very loyal and loves his people once he trusts someone new. He was rescued from animal control where he was picked up as a stray and was likely hit by a car. Hope 4 Paws had emergency surgery on his hind leg done April 25th to repair the femoral fracture, and he is currently healing up in his foster home. His prognosis is GREAT and with time, he should recover 100% use of his leg. He has a few months of rehabilitation (likely through July) so he is hoping to find a family that will give him lots of love an encouragement as he strengthens up. His injury doesn't hinder his spirit one bit, and he wishes so badly he could run around and play... and soon, he'll be able to again! He'd prefer a family that can dedicate the time to socializing him slowly around other dogs and strange people through training classes and exposure to positive situations. He does warm up quickly, but it's obvious that wherever he came from didn't give him much socialization prior to this. Please consider giving Kodak a loving, forever home!
To donate to Kodak's care, which is over $2,000, please visit his "Chip In" page: http://helpfortune.chipin.com/kodak-the-8-month-old-rescued-dogs-emergency-femoral-repair-surgery
Kodak has been examined by a vet, neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. He has also been fecal tested (and dewormed if needed) and heartworm tested. An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.
The adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com.
The application can be emailed to Nicole at NSwick@gmail.com.
The adoption fee for Kodak of $275 covers all vetting.
