Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My human fell on hard times and could no longer properly care for me. Because I’m such a spectacular cat and she wanted better for me, she reluctantly gave me up to find a new family who would give me the love and care I deserve. I’m been in a foster home since the first of April and after an adjustment period, I learned to get along with the other kitties there. I had dogs at my previous home and got along well with them and the human kids, too, but had never been around other cats before. I didn’t really “buddy-up” with them but I think it was because there were just so many at my foster home that it was a bit overwhelming. But I did learn to live peacefully among them and would probably do ok in a new home with another kitty – or possibly two. Not only am I drop-dead gorgeous but I’m just as sweet as I am pretty! I adore attention and spending time with my humans is one of my favorite things in the world. I also have a very playful side and like interactive toys that both my human and I can play together (like “chase the string”). While I am a lovely tortoiseshell (tortie) lady, I don’t have a lot of torti-tude but I do give “love bites” just to show how much I love you – or sometimes to tell you that I’ve had enough of whatever it is you’re doing. But my nips are never very hard and certainly not vicious – just enough to get my point across, whatever that point happens to be!
I also need to let you know that I’m a “special needs” kitty. I recently spent 3 days in the kitty hospital because my bowels were blocked. The kitty doctor thinks it’s because I suffered a spinal injury sometime in my life and I now have neurological damage that makes it hard for me to have bowel movements. I was put on a prescription diet (Purina EN) and take two different medicines twice a day (which I take without fuss!) and am doing very, very well! It’s important that my litter box be monitored to make sure I poop every day and that I stay on my special diet. So I would probably do better as an only cat to keep a close eye on my condition – but living with dogs would be ok, as would older children. Just because I’m special needs doesn’t mean I don’t still have a lot of life left or love to give! I will bring a calming, Zen-like quality of peace, fulfillment, and love to your otherwise dreary and routine life if you’ll be my new forever family!
