My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Winn Dixie, yes just like the famous movie dog’s name. I am a very special dog who is looking for a very special home. I am a housebroken, Terrier mix, spayed female, about 50 lbs, who is up to date on all my shots. I was originally abandoned so the shelter is not sure how old I am but I am probably around 4 to 5 years old. I am a loveable happy pooch. I love to play fetch, go on car rides, get belly rubs, and go for walks. I like to sit and lean into your legs and I have great facial expressions. I have a really great begging pose that I do, it is priceless, you just have to see it. I have had a few homes so I am looking for that special home where I can be happy and live out the rest of my days. I do need to be in an all adult home with no children and a home that has no future plans for children. I would need to be put away in my crate when children come over for visits. I would need to be the only pet in the house as well. The volunteers at my shelter are working hard to help me. I am taking a great training class where I am learning so much.
