My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Jerry! I'm a 3-6 month old puppy! My foster mommy has a lot to say about me, and I don't much know what she is telling me because I'm just a baby and I'm still learning what her words mean. She says I am the SWEETEST boy around whose had a "hard start". I don't think it was hard, just scary. I was found by a nice lady on the side of the freeway in a box when I was almost just born. The lady gave me and my brother a nice warm bed to sleep in, and took me to the doctor where he made me feel better. I was tormented by hook worm, but she was so great she got rid of it with this special medicine. Then I had to leave her, my mom was awesome, but I wasn't getting the home I needed where I came from because she told me "people dont like your breed" well, I don't know anything about that, I just love to play, but that didn't matter to them, I was bad because I was a Pit Bull... So my mom sent me with another cool lady who has shown me all sorts of things like FETCH! I LOVE this game! I still mope and miss my first mom sometimes but fetch helps me cheer up! I do piddle in the house but its because I have a little bladder and can't hold it like the other big dogs. I don't mean to, really I don't. I live with a toddler, at least that's what mom calls him, and he is cool. He usually has stuff stuck to his face that I get to lick off. I live with 2 other "pit bulls" and they aren't bad either, they are fun like me! We romp and play together in mom's back yard. I love Nylabone-but ONLY the chicken kind. I also love to snuggle. Naps are the best when it's with my people. I'm learning to love my head lead collar too. Mom says it makes me walk nicely, I think it's uncomfortable, but I get to go for a walk with it. Please come and meet me, Ill show you how good I can be, I just want my own home.
