Have you ever heard the phrase 'Ready Made Dog'? It refers to a dog who requires little to no additional training, who displays few or less behavioral problems. They are hard to find when you set out to adopt a new dog to bring into the family. If you've been searching for a ready made dog, you've come to the right place!
Meet Bailey!
Bailey is truely a ready made dog. She's got excellent house manners! Bailey won't jump up on you or your houseguests. Instead, she knows the value and
cuteness of the "wigglebutt" and uses it often. She also never counter
surfs, and knows many people don't want dog hair all over the furniture,
so she stays off. She never bites or nips, and rarely barks except to go out or
make you aware of something she feels is important.
Bailey comes with the gold medal skills of sit, down, paw, come, stay, etc. She listens immediately, and is ready to learn more. You CAN definitely teach an old dog new tricks, and she’s ready to eat as many treats as needed until she learns something new.
Do you like lounging in front of your tv after a long day? So does Bailey. She does not need to be entertained for hours on end. She does, however, like bum-scratches – but is content to do it herself if needed.
Even though she likes her cuddle time, Bailey also loves to get out and enjoy life. She is a perfect lady on the leash, and loves romping with her fur-siblings. If you didn't know better, you'd think she was still a puppy. She is also mindful of others around her, so won't run over kids or others when playing too rough.
Bailey is completely housebroken. She will even bark at you to signal that she needs to go outside! She is also crate trained and is happy to chill in her crate if you need her to. Bailey generally accepts all those around her. She may not wrestle with other dogs, but is fine sharing her space with them. She’s also good with kids as long as they don’t climb on her like a jungle gym. She’s very tolerant of the young boys in her foster home, and likes to cuddle when they nap. We haven’t tested her with cats yet, but don’t see her having any problems with them.
Bailey is appx 60lbs and is built like a Berner. She's a little bit nervous about thunderstorms and rolled up newspapers, but soft talking and petting will calm her down quickly. She's spayed and utd on all of her vaccinations, and she's been kept up to date on monthly preventatives. She's very healthy and ready to start her new life with you!
Bailey is currently in the St Louis Missouri area, so if you would like to adopt this Black Tri Aussie, complete an
