My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I boarded Rufus last year, along with his brother a blind gummy poodle, both SWEET as can be. Rufus the beagle, is 11 years old, a doll baby but on occasion flips out and attacks Willie the geriatric poodle, no food involved, just seems to have anger issues now and again. Last week he really hurt the poodle to the point of him having stitches and the owners although broken hearted, want to try to place him as they think Willie has another 2-3 years and doesn’t need the stress............ they also adopted another girl, who they found in the woods, and they needed to have all her teeth pulled, so she is no match for Rufus when his jealously rears its ugly head. Rufus is neutered, UTD on everything, and would be a great companion for an older person who doesn’t want a high energy dog, he’s quite the charmer, he also did not chase my cats when he was here, and I really enjoyed him, its so sad that he has this one trait......... because he’s such a lover most of the time. He comes with dishes and leashes ect, they just want a nice home for him as an only child........where he can relax and be loved and be Top Dog!
