My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dollar was abandoned by his family who lost their home or just moved and left him behind. He was there waiting for them to return close to starved being fed a little by neighbors. A nice lady named jackie heard about him and called us. He is fixed now and has been worned with up to date shots as well. His fosters say hes good with children and now house trained. He does not like to be left outside too long which is very understandable. We're not sure why but he is deaf. Our vet thinks he was either born this way or maybe subjected to close gunfire due to the area he came from. Hes just wonderful with everyone. He does respond to vibrations and when you clap your hands as well. Please call 586 690 2808 with any questions
During a vet visit we decided to test him again since he was out all summer in a yard with tall grass and heartworm takes months to advance enough to show in a test. This time it was positive. He may need another treatment we arent sure yet. If you want to know more about him please call 586 690 2808
UPDATE ON DOLLAR: Thanks to Rakestraw vet in Detroit, dollar has tested heartworm free after his treatments. He is ready to start his new life.
