Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mitzi is a cuddly sweetheart that loves to snuggle and hang out with you! She is a rottweiler, but has hair like a terrier, so we aren't quite sure what she is mixed with or if she just has the recessive long-haired rotti gene. She gets along well with dogs and loves to play - she has been with large groups of dogs in our doggy daycare and has excellent social skills. She is extremely friendly with people and loves to say hi to everyone she meets - she will even try to sneak in a cuddle session if she can!
We have not had her with cats or very small children, but she is very eager to learn and doesn't seem to want to chase smaller dogs or animals, so could probably easily learn to live in harmony with a cat or other animals. Supervision would obviously be needed with small children but she seems to have been with children in the past and has a very gentle nature.
Mitzi was at an animal shelter and needed a bit of rehab with some resource guarding issues, so she transferred to Canine Harmony. Mitzi has done great with her training, is eager to learn new things and is now ready to go to her forever home!
Mitzi is looking for a home with a moderate activity level that also has lots of time for quality snuggling time. She would like a person who has some experience with larger dogs and will be able to continue to help her with her training if she tries to be greedy with bones in the future and to continue with her obedience lessons. She is house-trained and kennel-trained and ready to go!
Her adoption fee of $250, includes her spay/vaccinations/microchip. Complimentary follow up sessions with her trainer are also included to help both her new owner, and Mitzi, stay on the right track on the road to success!
