Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Smitty is a little Scottish Terrier whose persona is much larger than his physical being of 18 pounds. This little character has been a fascination to watch develop into full Terrier mode! He's a young boy and his perspective on life and the world around him is awe inspiring! =) Smitty has been fully vaccinated, neutered, and is receiving regular prevention to keep his heart free of heartworms. He is cute beyond description and has learned to negotiate the dog door that is WAY too high off the floor for him! He's tenacious and spirited, but can be sooo affectionate, too. He behaves like a cat often doing circles around you legs, (er, make that ankles) rubbing against you, and stalking some stationary object only to back away a few steps and then make a running leap onto it. Watching him discover himself in the mirror or any glass-fronted door is a total hoot! He barks at that little doggie in the window, and tries to bump noses with it. Although Scotties are known (and bred) to dig on search of vermin, Smitty has not dug or been destructive at all at the foster home. He gets along fine with the other dogs in the home, although he has a vicious sounding growl that he emits while he is running in the other direction when someone has had enough of his antics! We have learned that living with a Scottie is a new and fun experience! We think the breed probably isn't for everyone, but for those who love Terriers, here is a real prize-winner! If you want to add a little spark to your life, this little guy is for you. Apply to adopt Smitty today! He's just precious!!
