My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zaza (short for Esperanza-Spanish for "hope"), was brought to the Cleveland City Kennel weighing a mere 14 pounds. She had been starved, almost to death. Zaza had a will to live; she didn't give up. Thanks to some volunteers who saw her and knew she deserved a better life, Zaza was treated at the vet and has been nursed back to health. She is now a healthy 43 pounds, and full of life!

Zaza is approximately 2-3 years old. Her breed is unknown, although it's obvious she is mixed with something that has really big ears! Zaza is housebroken, crate trained, and good with other dogs. She would do best in a home without cats. Zaza is spayed and up to date on all of her shots. She has thrived in her foster home, learning how to be a dog all over again. Zaza is very smart, she has learned basic commands easily. She knows 'sit,' 'down,' 'come' and 'stay'. Zaza walks really well on a leash, and enjoys biking as well. She is off-leashed trained. Two things Zaza loves the most are playing fetch and getting belly rubs. Every morning, she wakes up with her tail wagging; she truly loves life!

Zaza is looking for a new home; she has lots of love to give. Please contact us for more information about how you can help give Zaza a second chance!
